Our research and development policy includes the use of a range of guidelines on our software development process that ensures an easy incorporation of new technologies. System functionalities, for instance, may be extended as web services, thereby enabling remote applications to automatically use those functionalities through the web. This does not require any change in the system code, since the business’ public interfaces are made available through Soap and J2EE.

We have large experience in R&D projects for Hewlett-Packard and the software developed by us, in Brazil, has been used since 1998 in other applications at the HP Labs in the United States, as well as on hardware architectures for yet unreleased machines.
